A native Southerner, I moved to Manchester, NH, in November, 2004, to take a job as a news reporter for Hippo Press. At the Hippo I received a crash course into the workings of Manchester, including a peek at its various quirks and an introduction to its many characters.
That education continues in my current job as a community organizer for NeighborWorks® Greater Manchester, where I organize community residents around quality-of-life issues, as well as residents of my organization's affordable housing properties. I have also assisted in the formation of the Manchester Worker Rights Network and the Manchester Bed Bug Action Committee.
In my spare time I organize Manchester Carrotmob and serve on the Friends of CHaD Board of Directors and as captain of the Oak Park Neighborhood Watch group.
