The Confederates are coming! The Confederates are coming!
Friday, May 29, 2009 at 4:39PM Though I have yet to see hard evidence, I suspect that Manchester will soon to be invaded by the Confederate States of America.
Confederate outposts — in plain sight! — have been spotted on both sides of the Merrimack River. The rebels’ West Side headquarters appears to be the Rev. Raymond A. Burns high rise, an affordable senior housing property at 55 S. Main St.:
Here I spied, hanging from the railing of a fourth floor balcony, this Confederate battle flag:
And on the east side, this two-family at 502 Spruce St. has a small Confederate battle flag hanging in a ground floor window on the left hand side of the building:
And flying from the building’s second floor balcony is the Stars and Bars, otherwise known as the First National Flag of the Confederacy:
Unfurled, the flag looks like this:

Save your Confederate money boys, the South’s gonna rise again!

South Postpones Rising Again For Yet Another Year

"Yes, sir. The South will rise again, and when it does, I'll be right up front waving the Stars and Bars," said Dock Mullins of Decatur, GA. "But first, I gotta get my truck fixed and get that rusty old stove out of my yard.""Lord willing, and the creek don't rise, we gonna rise again," said Sumter, SC, radiator technician Hap Slidell, who describes himself as "Southern by the grace of God." "I don't know exactly when we're gonna do it, but one of these days, we're gonna show them Yankees how it's done."
I was staring at that flag the other day thinking it would interest you.
Speaking of interesting buildings, I was down in Lawrence, MA and took a picture of a gorgeous old church donned with a lovely red X. I can text it to you if you want;)
Yes the South will rise again. Maybe Manchester has gone south with all the newest and latest tax increases. In Ward 5, we have a many southerners who have decided to live here. Schools close by, good restaurants right in the neighborhood and supermarkets too. Maybe a Dollar General will replace the "Family Dollar"?. Who knows which way the wind blows.
Oh please!
